Singapore, 1st October 2025Hanwha Offshore Singapore marked the celebration of Ayudha Puja on October 1st, embracing tradition and cultural harmony at its Singapore facility. The event brought together employees and management in a spirit of unity, gratitude, and reverence.

Ayudha Puja, observed as part of the Navaratri festival in several parts of India, is a day dedicated to honoring the tools, instruments, and machinery that enable people to earn their livelihoods. For an engineering-driven company like Hanwha Offshore Singapore, this tradition resonates deeply — aligning with its values of respect, precision, and gratitude for the technology and human effort behind every achievement.

The celebration began with a ceremonial puja conducted by Hanwha Offshore Singapore Employees, with the worship of tools and machinery that are integral to the company’s operations. Employees, clients & Sub-Contractors gathered to participate in the rituals, which included offerings of flowers, fruits, and traditional sweets, symbolizing gratitude and respect for the instruments of their trade.

Ayudha Puja offers an opportunity to reflect on the deeper spiritual connection we have with our work and tools. This festival not only sanctifies the instruments of our livelihood but also revitalizes our spirit for the work year ahead. It reminds us that every tool, no matter how simple, carries the potential for creating and sustaining safe work practices in the job. Ayudha Puja is a testament to the profound sanctity found in the everyday, urging us to approach our daily tasks with reverence and gratitude.

The celebration concluded with distribution of Puja Prasadam.  The sacred offerings from the puja were shared among all employees, clients and sub-contractors symbolizing unity and togetherness. The prasadam included a variety of traditional sweets and snacks, allowing everyone to partake in the blessings of the day.
